Matilija Schoolyard Habitat

March 11, 2018 Update

We got one inch of rain for total of 6 inches for the year. YIPPEE!
The Matilija Schoolyard Habitat captures rainwater, has plants that soak up the rain, cardboard and mulch at the base of plants along with a fire that burnt down the shed.

I worked with the Principal of Matilija JH to develop a Schoolyard Habitat that provided a garden of native plants to support wildlife.
